Features

One of four villas all identical in style set around an oval swimming pool with bar area. Set beneath a mountainside with unspoilt views across a cotton field and surrounded by Lemon and Orange groves with spectacular walks and flora and fauna, this is a perfect location for lovers of nature, ramblers, painters, ornithologists and photographers. Possibly suited to more mature and independently minded people this is ideal for those wishing to just relax by the pool or with car hire to explore the many sites of archeological interest in this part of Turkey. In the past 4 or 5 years more than 300 British and Dutch have been so enamoured with Dalyan that they have moved here for good!

Specification

Pool is shared between just 4 houses which are rarely occupied at the same time, so often the pool will be just for your own use. There is a bar and barbecue area beside the pool. Public transport is excellent, reliable and cheap through the whole of Turkey and takes 10 minutes to Dalyan centre from where you can catch either a boat or another minibus to the beach. There are many other activities associated with tourism such as horse riding, white water rafting microlite trips, the famous mud baths along the river and lake. Evening boat trips on the lake with barbecue and spectacular night skies through lack of light pollution are a must. The milky way is clearly seen nearly every night. In Spring time the Storks arrive from Africa and feed on the frogs in the cotton field in front of the house. A pair of Eagles live nearby and can be seen most days. The Ley-Ley ("Stork"), restaurant is a 20 minute walk from the house and Dalyan has many bars and reataurants through the season.
